An Australian school teacher has been sent to jail for six years for possessing explosives.
Forty-two-year-old John Howard Amundsen was arrested in 2006 after sending a threatening email to a police counter-terrorism unit.
Amundsen claimed to be an al-Qaeda operative.
While the court heard Amundsen had suffered from autism and was known to be a fantasist, the judge ordered a custodial sentence but made him eligible for parole after serving three years.
Amundsen told the court he was sorry for his actions and felt humiliated.
